This 1310 CV yoke is for NVG241OR transfer cases NOT equipped with a speed sensor mounted in the tailhousing. This new yoke can be used on the front or rear output shaft.

A new factory specification dust shield is installed onto the yoke so that the original oil seal functions correctly. We strongly recommend using the dust shield since it can be easily replaced as normal wear occurs from the seal lip. There are some replacement yokes on the market for the 241OR that do not use the dust shield and force disposal and replacement of the entire yoke once the seal surface is worn (very costly).

The rear spline area of the yoke has been counterbored to fit the stock transfer case output shaft. The yoke is coated with black oxide to prohibit rust.

The front spline area of this 1310 yoke has also been counterbored to properly seal against the large shaft O-RING found only on the Jeep JK application transfer case. Some other companies ignore this detail to allow use of one yoke for all applications. The new yoke is coated with black oxide to prohibit rust. This is another feature not offered by other companies.

The common Spicer #2-4-5341 is a CV style yoke widely used throughout the aftermarket on the applications noted above. The shape of the Spicer yoke is not conducive to high angle driveshaft configurations. The Spicer yoke will often bind during suspension droop. Our new yoke will alleviate this problem by adding the necessary clearance in critical areas of the yoke. In addition, the new yoke is 5/8" shorter than the Spicer part therefore adding to the effort of maximizing rear driveline length for lifted 4x4's. This yoke is the only one of its kind on the market.
